16/08/2008 DUNWICH, North Stradbroke Island

Straddie Breakfast Fly-Ins are normally held on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 9:00 AM. All flyers and flyers at heart welcome.
Cost is $15 per person for a sumptuous breakfast that includes: Fruit Platters, Bacon & Eggs, Sausages & Eggs, Mushrooms, Toast, Baked Beans,
Spaghetti, Creamed Corn, Tea, Coffee(bottomless cup) and Fruit Juice.

I've heard from fellow grand-pa aviators that this breakfast is commendable, the
topography a little scary, but the flight unbelievably beautiful and the breakfast
appearantly, really very good

17/08/2008 Caboolture Airfield

With a focus on the Royal Flying Doctors and the Emergency Services, a rescue training sequence is set to be the highlight of the day together with the airfield's normal flying activities. As this is a community event we are inviting interested parties to participate, by hold a stall, prompting a club or an event or by putting on a display. We are hoping to be in a position to make a donation to the Royal Flying Doctors so we are not able to pay for anyone to attend, however, all sites are free of charge. Power to a site, if required, will be the responsibility of the store holder. All participants will be required to have public liability cover, and will need to provide us with a copy. So we can have the required site plan in place, please contact Dave on 0412 104 727 or
Lesleigh on 0488 274 015 (AH) or 3856 5274 (AH) by 31 July 2008 to secure a site.
